Installation Inspiration: The Eastside Community Church Jackson Lake Campus

Blog Contributed by David West

Eastridge Community Church has been a part of the Covington community for many years. Due to their expanding congregation, Eastridge recently expanded their mission! The Jackson Lake Campus, situated on Highway 42 in Covington, Georgia, broke ground in 2015. Flash forward 2 years and the Jackson Lake Campus was completed. The modern looking building officially opened its doors on February 12th, 2017

But, before it could admit parishioners, this modern looking building needed some modern looking landscaping! Enter, Great Estates Landscaping. We sent our team of experts to the newly opened Eastside Community Church Jackson Lake Campus to survey the property and to renovate their landscape, just in time for their Grand Opening. Our team began by irrigating the site, followed by a layer of sod. After the sodding, our landscapers seeded the area to promote the newly installed lawn to grow strong and healthy.

Soon, it was time add the finishing touches to the Jackson Lake Campus building. Great Estates Landscaping chose to frame the entrance walkway of the building with hearty shrubs and trees. These shrubs will add color to the walkway and looks beautiful! Then, to complement the beauty of our design, we covered the landscape with fresh pine straw. This pine straw will also act as mulch or a protective top layer for Jackson Lake Campus’s landscaping.

The final flourish to make the Jackson Lake Campus building’s landscape complete; the addition of wonderful winter plants and flowers, that are full of color. We planted these beauties in the planters, near the entrance. Head out to Eastside Community Church and their Jackson Lake Campus and see the Great Estates Landscaping difference for yourself!
